Aabhijay’s all-round show helps CCOB CA win 9th Eid Milap Cricket League final

V Aabhijay’s all-round show powered CCOB Cricket Association to a comfortable 44-run win over VJ CA in the final of the 9^th Eid Milap Cricket League 2026 at the SKN cricket grounds in Boduppal, Hyderabad.

Batting first, CCOB Cricket Association ran up 219 for nine in their 30 overs with S Dharmik making a topscore of 54. M Bharat chipped in with 50 and Manikanta made a useful 40. V Aabhijay remained unbeaten on 28 and Hrishikesh Goud too was not out on 27.

In reply, VJ CA found valiantly but were unable to keep pace with the asking rate. Shiva made 47 and Abhishek scored 34 but the others were unable to contribute much. Aabhijay finished with figures of four for 17 as VJ CA were bowled out for 175 in 27.2 overs.

The tournament was organised by Emerging Cricketers Development Group (ECDG). The closing function was attended by Dr Faheemuddin Khaja, principal of Crescent Model English School.
