The International Series, backed by LIV Golf, and the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) on Thursday unveiled a direct performance pathway designed to propel India’s top-performing players onto the global stage.
Leading players from the IGPL will have the opportunity to participate in various International Series events and secure further opportunities to compete in ‘LIV Golf Promotions,’ thereby accelerating their progression within elite-level golf.
This partnership was formalized at the Aramco LIV Golf Singapore event, where the heads of both organizations reaffirmed their shared ambition to strengthen the developmental pathways for emerging talent.
Present on the occasion were LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil, IGPL CEO Uttam Singh Mundy, head of IGPL International partnerships Mani Indher, as well as IGPL franchise owner and tennis icon Leander Paes (a former doubles World No. 1, 18-time Grand Slam champion, and Olympic bronze medalist).
IGPL enjoys the backing of Yuvraj Singh
The IGPL also enjoys the backing of cricket legend Yuvraj Singh as its brand ambassador; he is firmly associated with this initiative, driven by a shared belief in taking Indian golf to the next level.

Through this partnership, leading players from the IGPL, identified at designated points during the season based on league rankings, will secure their spots in various International Series events held throughout the year.
Competing in the International Series will provide these players with the opportunity to test their skills on world-class courses against elite international fields and high-caliber competition. Strong performances could open doors to further opportunities within the LIV Golf ecosystem, including pathways to access the League itself via the season-long International Series rankings and ‘LIV Golf Promotions.
“LIV Golf is committed to enhancing the global ecosystem, expanding opportunities for players, and rewarding top performance worldwide. India is a market with immense potential for the sport, and linking the IGPL with LIV Golf and The International Series helps create a clear pathway for talented players to test themselves on the international stage, advance their careers through these avenues, and inspire India’s next generation of golf stars,” sad LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil.
Gamechanger for Indian golf talent, says Mundy
“An opportunity like this is a gamechanger for Indian golf talent, and we are delighted to be extending our platform to encompass such incredible opportunities,” said IGPL CEO Uttam Singh Mundy.
“One of the core missions of The International Series is to provide emerging talents with the opportunity to test themselves on a global stage alongside some of the biggest names in the sport. Through this partnership with the IGPL, India’s top-performing players gain a direct pathway toward the most elite level of the game. This is far more than just securing a spot in the field; it is an invitation to hone their skills against the sport’s best players and to thrive in a high-stakes environment. We are proud to help create such a platform for the next generation of players in India,” said Rahul Singh, head of The International Series.
“The IGPL has always held a vision of developing an ecosystem to advance Indian golf by providing players with greater opportunities to compete and evolve toward global standards. This partnership with LIV Golf and The International Series gives our top-ranked players the chance to step into a world-class field and prove that they can compete at the very highest level,” stated Mani Indher, head of IGPL International Partnerships.
