Nalgonda girls and Medchal-Malkajgiri boys emerged champions in the football competitions of the 2nd Chief Minister’s Cup 2026.
In the girls’ final, Nalgonda defeated Nizamambad 4-3 via the tiebreaker.

The boys’ final too went on similar lines with Medchal-Malkajgiri securing victory by overcoming a fighting Hyderabad 4-2 in the tiebreaker.
The competitions were held from February 20 to 23. The tournament featured Under-14 boys’ and girls’ categories with enthusiastic participation from district teams across the state. The competition witnessed high standards of performance and sportsmanship throughout.
The tournament concluded successfully with support from players, officials, and spectators.
