Resuming at their overnight score of seven for two, the hosts put up a brief fight through opener Hemanth Reddy and skipper Ricky Bhui. Tanay then had Sreeram Rahul caught by Abhirath Reddy and trapped Hemanth (27) to leave Andhra tottering at 79 for five.

KV Sasikanth and Tiruparana Vijay (1) added 13 before another left-arm spinner G Aniketh Reddy had Vijay caught by Tanmay Agarwal.

Tanay returned to have Sasikanth (23) stumped by Pragnay Reddy and the last vestiges of the battle were done and dusted.
