For entrepreneur Annam Satish Prabhakar, cricket has always been more than just a sport — it has been a passion and a vision he wanted to build around. His journey into professional franchise cricket began with Amaravati Royals in the Andhra Premier League (APL), with the support and platform provided by the Andhra Cricket Association.
What started as a step into domestic franchise cricket soon developed into a larger ambition: to take that experience and passion to the international stage.
That ambition has now taken shape with Prabhakar’s entry into the Abu Dhabi T10, where he is part of the ownership of Emirates Eagles. The move marks a significant progression from building a franchise at the state-league level in India to establishing a presence on a global cricketing platform in the UAE.
Satish Prabhakar’s vision for Emirates Eagles goes beyond simply owning a cricket team. His aim is to build a strong, competitive and professionally managed global franchise, create opportunities for talented cricketers, bring together experienced professionals from across the cricketing world, and develop a brand capable of making its presence felt internationally.
At the heart of the journey remains his passion for cricket — combining an entrepreneur’s approach to building organisations with a genuine desire to contribute to the sport.
From Amaravati Royals in the Andhra Premier League to Emirates Eagles in the Abu Dhabi T10, the journey represents a bigger vision: to build, compete, create opportunities and take a passion for cricket to the global stage.
