V Anirudh Naik hammered a double century to help Team B reach a formidable score against Team C in the HCA’s Under-16 boys two-days selection match in Hyderabad on Friday.

Batting first, Team B ran up 356 with Anirudh Naik doing the bulk of the scoring. His 201 came off 198 balls with 26 fours and 10 sixes. The next best score was Ruhaan Verma’s 42. In reply, Team C were 8 for no loss.
Harsh Gandra
Harsh Gandhra produced a fine all-round performance to put Team I on top against Team L. Harsh took five for 21 as Team L, batting first, were bowled out for just 82.
In reply, Team I were 252 for five at stumps with Harsh batting on 103 off 77 balls with 15 fours and a six. Giving him company was K Sai Charan on 61.
Md Rehmath struck a century to help Team A put up a big score against Team D. Rehmath made 141 off 114 balls with 19 fours and four sixes, while Shaurya scored 64 as Team A posted 368.
G Varun took four for 57 for Team D, who were 25 without loss at stumps.

S Sai Pranav took five wickets to help Team F take a handy 59-run lead over Team G. Batting first, Team G were bundled out for a lowly 94 with Pranav bagging five for 31. In reply, Team F made 153 as V Arush Chandra took five for 25.

Hyderabad reach 317 for nine against Kerala
Rahul Radheesh and CV Milind scored half-centuries as Hyderabad scored 317 for nine against the visiting Kerala side during their practice match.
Rahul scored 63 and Milind made 55 to prop up the Hyderabad score. Tanmay Agarwal (48), Sai Pragnay Reddy (38) and K Himateja (35) got good starts but were unable to build upon it.
Vyshak Chandran took four for 61 and veteran Jalaj Saxena bagged three for 54 for Kerala.

Fatima Sidra’s all-round show helped Team 25 score a six-wicket win over Team 27 in the Under-15 girls one-day league.
Fatima took four for 17 to help restrict Team 27 to 139 for nine. She then scored 41 to take Team 25 to 140 for four. Harshita V too made 41.
In another match, Rebacca Joycee took three for 33 but her side Team 21 lost to Team 22 by 100 runs.
