Sai Tanishq C and Karthikeya Thati hit centuries to help Team L take a 100-run lead over Team J in the HCA’s Under-16 multi-day selection matches in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Replying to Team J’s 305, Team L reached 405 for eight at stumps on the second day. Sai Tanishq made 142 off 162 balls with 24 fours and a six, while Karthikeya was batting on 114 off 129 balls with 16 fours and three sixes.
In another match, G Chaitra Sandeep took five for four (4-1-4-5) to help Team I take a 185-run lead over Team K. Replying to Team I’s 270, Team K were bowled out for 85. Harsh Gandra took four for 12 for Team I.
Elsewhere, Krish D took five for 31 but Team C took a handy 86-run run lead over Team A.
