Akula Sai Chandra led the bowlers’ parade on the second day of the Round 5 matches in the HCA B Division (2-day) League Championship in Hyderabad on Friday. Only two batters were able to get centuries on the day.
Sai Chandra fashioned Rohit XI’s massive 268-run victory over Marredpally. Replying to Rohit XI’s huge 445, Marredpally were bowled out for 177 despite Sanyasi Shiven’s 83. Sai Chandra finished with figures of six for 50 in 11.3 overs.

Mohd Adnan bowled MP Blues to a 220-run win over Sayi Satya. Replying to MP Blues’ 336 for five, Sayi Satya faltered badly and were bowled out for a lowly 15. Mohd Adnan did the most damage with a five for 27 haul in 11 overs.

Nanavath Rakesh took five wickets to help Sportive score a 109-run win over Green Turf. After making 322, Sportive restricted Green Turf to 213 with Rakesh claiming five for 21 in 18 overs. Khushal Tiwari scored 62 for Green Turf.
J Gaurav Nag did the star turn for Telangana as they cruised to a 144-run win over Karimnagar.
Replying to Telangana’s 263, Karimnagar were bundled out for 119 with Gaurav Nag scalping five for 50.
Avancha Laxman trumped Nipun Reddy’s effort as Warangal scored a 70-run win over Jai Bhagwathi.
Replying to Warangal’s 332 for nine, Jai Bhagwathi fought back well thanks to Nipun Reddy’s 101 which came off 137 balls with eight fours and three sixes. However, Laxman took five for 45 to restrict Jai Bhagwathi to 262.
Kushal Sheerla struck a century to steer Mahadev to a six-wicket win over Visakha.
Replying to Visakha’s 268, Mahadev made 269 for four with Kushal scoring 129 off 142 balls with 17 fours and four sixes.
