The Nallagandla Sports Association (NaSA) successfully organized the NaSAthon 5K Run at Nallagandla as the official curtain raiser for the NaSA logo and the upcoming NaSA Sports Fest. Coinciding with International Women’s Day, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 700 residents. All participants got medals and perks.
The run was flagged off by Serilingampally MLA Arikepudi Gandhi in the presence of several community leaders and dignitaries. The event also marked the curtain raiser for the NaSA Sports Fest, which is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks.
Residents from various communities across Nallagandla and surrounding areas actively participated in the run. People of all age groups, including women, youth, and children, took part with great enthusiasm, making the event a vibrant community gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Gandhi appreciated the initiative taken by the residents and organizers. He stated that such community-driven events play an important role in promoting health, fitness, and unity among residents. He also suggested organizing more initiatives such as health check-up camps, cyclothons, and community runs, encouraging people to participate actively and stay fit.

He further assured that his full support will always be available for such initiatives, especially considering that Lingampally, particularly Nallagandla, is one of the fastest growing and densely populated residential areas, where such community activities should be conducted regularly.
The event was organized by the Nallagandla Sports Association (NaSA) with the objective of bringing residents together through sports and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle within the community.
Prominent members of the association present at the event included NaSA president Shali Mitra, vice president Naresh, along with executive committee members and several other community representatives.
