RR boxing selections from December 18 to 20

The Ranga Reddy Amateur Boxing Association will conduct selections for the state team at Shaikpet Boxing Club, GHMC Sports Complex, Shaikpet, Hyderabad, on December 18 to 20. The selected players will take part in the 9th Elite Men and Women National Boxing Championship from December 31 to January 6 at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Competitions will be held in the following weight categories: Men: 47-50kg, 50-55kg, 55-60kg, 60-65kg, 65-70kg, 70-75kg, 75-80kg, 80-85kg, 85-90kg & +90kg. Women: 45-48kg, 51-54kg, 54-57kg, 57-60kg, 60-65kg, 65-70, 70-75kg, 75-80kg & +80kgs.

Boxers born between January 1, 1985, and December 31, 2006, are eligible to take part in the championship. Medical and weigh in will start at 8.00 am and the bouts will start from 11.00 am onwards on December 18.

Entries should reach the secretary on the district letter head duly signed by district secretary or president on or before December 15, 2025. Entry fee is Rs 500 per each boxer. Accommodation will be provided for outstation district teams and all boxers will be given breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The following documents should be submitted: Municipal birth certificate, school/college certificate showing age, Aadhar card, two passport size photographs. The following medical certificates too have to be submitted: Hepatitis B, C and HIV certificate, annual medical fitness certificate and Non pregnancy certificate (self-declaration).
