Upadhriti, Ayansh, Pardyumna, Monith and Razziq claim titles at TPL ranking tennis meet

Upadhriti blanked Sreeya Reddy to win the Under-12 girls’ singles title at the TPL Ranking Tennis Tournament conducted by Tennis Champs Academy in Hyderabad.

In what turned out to be a lop-sided contest, Upadhriti proved quite a handful for Sreeya Reddy. Upadhriti won the title with a 5-0 verdict.

In the Under-14 boys’ singles final, Ayansh brooked no challenge as he cruised to a comfortable 5-1 win over R Vedanth.

The Under-12 boys’ singles title was won by B Pradyumna, who defeated G Ayansh 5-1.

Monith Sai had to wage a battle before overcoming a fighting Om Preetham Baireddy to win the Under-10 boys’ singles title. Monith prevailed 5-3.

Mohd Razziq claimed the Under-8 boys’ singles title after defeating Abhi Chandra 5-2 in a close contest.

Results (finals): Boy singles Under-8: Mohd Razziq beat Abhi Chandra 5–2.

Under-10: Monith Sai beat Om Preetham Baireddy 5–3.

Under-12: Pradyumna B beat Ayansh G. 5–1.

Under-14: Ayansh beat R Vedanth 5–1

Girls singles Under-12: Upadhriti beat Sreeya Reddy 5–0.
