Manikanteshwar slams ton to help Khalsa reach final against Nizamabad in B Div T20

Manikanteshwar Reddy slammed an unbeaten century to power Khalsa into the final of the HCA B Division T20 League-cum-knock-out tournament in Hyderabad on Saturday. Khalsa will take on Nizamabad in the summit clash.

Batting first, Khalsa made a competitive 184 for six in 20 overs thanks to Manikanteshwar Reddy’s unbeaten 111 which came off 62 balls and contained six fours and nine sixes. In reply, Ours were bundled out for 113 with Harsha Alla taking four for 25 and Vivek Singh bagging three for 17.

In the other semifinal, Nizamabad scored a 38-run win over Nalgonda.  Batting first, Nizamabad made 147 for nine and then bowled out Nalgonda for 109 with K Lalith Reddy bagging five for 25.

Brief scores (semifinals): Nizambad 147/9 in 20 overs (Y Srikar Reddy 44, G Vikram Naik 33, Nenavath Ravinder 3/40) beat Nalgonda 109 in 18 overs (P Sainath 36, K Lalith Reddy 5/25).

Khalsa 184/6 in 20 overs (M Hasin Reddy 35, Manikanteshwar Reddy 111no) beat Ours 113 in 16.1 overs (Vivek Singh 3/17, Harsha Alla 4/25).

League: Adilabad 100 in 18.3 overs (P Sainath 3/17) lost to Nalgonda 105/1 in 9.5 overs (Jashwanth K 36, Adi Mani Kiran 49no).
