AMF-trained para cyclists’ bag 18 gold and 3 silver medals at Para Track Cycling National

Aditya Mehta Foundation-trained para cyclists delivered yet another outstanding performance at the Para Track Cycling National Championship at the Cycling Velodrome, Osmania University Campus in Hyderabad. The para cyclists secured an impressive haul of 18 gold and 3 silver medals across multiple events.

Maharashtra’s 15-year-old Anshuman stole the show in the MC1 category as he bagged three gold medals. In the MC2 category, Andhra Pradesh’s Arshad bagged three gold medals, while Telangana’s para cyclist Aryavardhan took home three silver medals in the same category.

Pawan of Andhra Pradesh won three gold medals in the MC3 category and 16-year-old Sameer of Uttar Pradesh rode to glory by taking three gold medals in the MC4 category. Aabid, a 17-year-old para cyclist from Jammu & Kashmir, won three gold medals in the MC5 category.

Finally, 16-year-old Vishva of Gujarat won three gold medals in the WC3 category.

The championships featured intense competition in Individual Pursuit, Time Trial, and Sprint, where AMF athletes showcased exceptional performance, resilience, and competitive excellence against the best para cyclists from across the country.

The athletes demonstrated remarkable determination, discipline, and sporting excellence, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing world-class Indian para-cycling talent and creating pathways for international success.

MC1 Category: Anshuman (15 years) of Maharashtra, 3 gold medals.

MC2 Category: Arshad of Andhra Pradesh, 3 gold medals.

MC2 Category: Aryavardhan of Telangana, 3 silver medals.

MC3 Category: Pawan of Andhra Pradesh, 3 gold medals.

MC4 Category: Sameer (16 years) of Uttar Pradesh, 3 gold medals.

MC5 Category: Aabid (17 years) of Jammu & Kashmir, 3 gold medals.

WC3 Category: Vishva (16 years) of Gujarat, 3 gold medals.
