Jharkhand T20 Cricket League, owned by Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) and managed by SJ Uplift, has officially announced the opening of franchise bidding for its inaugural season. Conceptualized and aligned with BCCI domestic T20 standards, the league invites interested entities to bid for ownership and operation of teams, marking the beginning of a new era for cricket in Jharkhand.
The bidding process will commence at 10 am on May 7, 2006 and remain open until 11.59 pm on Ma 11 2026, with all applications to be submitted through the centralized online portal:https://jt20.in/. Interested bidders will be required to complete registration, KYC formalities, and financial submissions within the stipulated timeline.
The inaugural season will feature six district-based franchise teams, representing designated regions across Jharkhand. The tournament will include 24 league-stage matches, followed by two semifinals and a Grand Final, totaling 27 matches in the season.
Detailed eligibility criteria, bidding guidelines, and submission requirements will be accessible through the official platform. Successful bidders will secure franchise rights upon completion of the evaluation process, followed by formal agreements with the league authorities.
Each franchise squad will consist of at least 15 players, all of whom are registered cricketers from Jharkhand, reinforcing the league’s commitment to promoting local talent and strengthening the state’s cricketing ecosystem.
