84-member Indian contingent set for ISSF Junior World Championship in Suhl

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has selected 84 shooters as part of the Indian contingent for the ISSF Junior World Championship 2026 to be held in Suhl, Germany. The tournament will feature India’s leading junior shooters competing across Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun events. The tournament will be held from June 16 to 26.

The following is the Indian participation in the tournament event wise.

Rifle:

10m Air Rifle Junior men: 6 athletes

10m Air Rifle Junior women: 6 athletes

50m Rifle 3 Positions Junior men: 6 athletes

50m Rifle 3 Positions Junior women: 6 athletes

50m Rifle Prone Junior men: 3 athletes

50m Rifle Prone Junior women: 4 athletes

Pistol:

10m Air Pistol Junior men: 6 athletes

10m Air Pistol Junior women: 6 athletes

25m Rapid Fire Pistol Junior men: 4 athletes

25m Sports Pistol Junior women: 8 athletes

25m Pistol Junior men: 3 athletes

25m Standard Pistol Junior men: 6 athletes

25m Standard Pistol Junior women: 6 athletes

50m Pistol Junior men: 6 athletes

50m Pistol Junior women: 4 athletes

Rifle AS: 3 athletes

Shotgun:

Trap Junior men: 6 athletes

Trap Junior women: 6 athletes

Skeet Junior men: 6 athletes

Skeet Junior women: 4 athletes

Mixed team events:

Air Rifle Mixed Team Junior: 2 teams (4 entries)

Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior: 2 teams (4 entries)

Trap Mixed Team Junior: 2 teams (4 entries)

Championship schedule:

June 16, 2026: Arrival

June 17, 2026: Pre-Event Training & Technical Meetings

June 18 to June 25, 2026: Qualification and Finals

June 26, 2026: Departure
