Zeil United FA, SDFC Little Stars and Conscient Sports claim titles at One Football Hyderabad

Adwaidh hammered six goals to power Ziel United FA to a thumping 9-3 win over Petra Sports Academy in the Under-14 final of the Junior edition of the One Football Hyderabad 2026 at the Sportek Arena in Gandipet, Hyderabad, on Sunday.

Adwaidh got six goals and Medansh scored a hat-trick as Ziel United hammered nine goals past their hapless rivals. For Petra Sports Academy, Kabir, Sai and Sanav scored a goal each.

SDFC Little Stars scored a 4-1 win over Petra Sports Academy to claim the Under-12 title. Ammar, Aber Ahrar and Affan scored a goal each for Little Stars, while Kushal found the consolation goal for Petra Sports Academy.

Conscient Sports scored a 2-0 win over Eden Academy to emerge Under-10 champions. Mihir and Adivith scored for the winners.

The fifth and final matchday arrived with the weight of five weeks of football behind it. After four thrilling weeks of league-stage competition, the Grand Finale brought the knockout stage to life, with the top teams from Under-10, Under-12, and Under-14 battling it out for the championship title.

The theme of the grand finale was the Social Aspect. Every player was offered a sapling, a symbol of nurturing, growth, and the effort that every child had poured into this tournament over the past five weeks. The highlight of the day was the Parent’s Super League (PSL), where parents stepped off the sidelines and onto the pitch, taking on each other in a spirited 3v3 competition that had the crowd in splits. The Notch Challenge Course continued for the final week, and the day was rounded off with special giveaways for all the coaches who had stood by their teams throughout the journey.

Victor and Yedukondalu were chief guests

The grand finale was graced by two distinguished guests. As chief guest Murala Yedukondalu, retired Assistant Commissioner of Customs and chairman of the Coaches Committee at the Telangana Football Association, brought with him a wealth of experience and genuine inspiration for the young players.

As guest of honour Victor Amalraj, former captain of the Indian football team and retired DGM at the Food Corporation of India, brought energy, passion, and a living reminder of what dedication to the beautiful game can achieve.

Joining them was Adiba Mohsin, founder of D5 Sports Management, whose vision for youth football has been at the heart of the One Football Championship Hyderabad.

Trophies were awarded to the champions and runners-up across all three categories, along with individual honours for Most Valuable Player, Top Goal Scorer, Best Defender, Best Goalkeeper, Best Coach of the Season, and the Notch Challenge winners.

With all the Powerplay cards having been used on Matchday 4, the standings had shifted quite significantly.

The awards, presented by these accomplished football veterans, made for a memorable conclusion to five weeks of competition and gave the young players all the motivation they needed to continue their footballing journey.
