Union Bank of India (UBI) pulled off a thrilling two-wicket win over Combined District-1 in the fourth round of the HCA A Division (2-day) League Championship in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Replying to Combined Districts 226, UBI went on to make 228 for eight with Neeraj Bist topscoring with 70 and Wafi Kachchhi making 63.

Ashish Srivastava took six for 33 to bowl Deccan Wanderers to a narrow six-run win over Imperial. Replying to Wanderers’ 235, Imperial were bowled out for 229 despite Manish Singh scoring 76. Ashish Srivasatav was the hero for Wanderers as he took six for 33.

Jai Hanuman pulled off a dramatic 13-run win over EMCC. Needing 237 for victory, EMCC made 223 despite A Avanish Rao scoring 83. Shanumkha Ashwin did the trick for Jai Hanuman with a four for 38 haul.

Chirag Yadav hammered an unbeaten century to steer Gemini Friends to a one-wicket win over Combined District-2.

Replying to District’s 242, Gemini Friends managed to reach 246 for nine with Chirag Yadav scoring 129 off 114 balls with 17 fours and two sixes.

Charminar recorded a 152-run win over Deccan Chronicle.

Raghava Pattapu scored an unbeaten 100 off 180 balls with 10 fours and four sixes as R Dayanand held MP Colts to a draw.

Aditya, Rakesh, Gaurav, Dheeraj shine with the cherry

In the B Division, NK Aditya took five for 41 to bowl Hyderabad Wanderers to a 167-run win over Deccan Blues.

Nanavath Rakesh took six for 55 as Sportive scored a 20-run win over Future Star.

J Gaurav took five for 59 as Warangal held Telangana to a tie.

Dheeraj Pranav took five for 25 to bowl Chetan Anand CA to a 81-run win over Deccan Arsenals.
