The 9th Edition of Sport Expo India 2026 a two-day exhibition, opened on Friday at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.
Organized by HITEX, it is a premier B2C expo for the sports, fitness, nutrition and wellness sectors, brings together manufacturers, brands, distributors, professionals, sports communities and end consumers on a common platform to experience, explore and engage with the latest products, services and trends across the industry.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Kuna Shankar, director – HITEX, along with Krishna Kumar Thakur, director personnel – NMDC, Rajesh Vetcha, race director – Hyderabad Runners, on Friday.
The expo features 50+ exhibitors and offers visitors an engaging combination of product showcases, live sports tournaments, on-ground competitions, demonstrations and interactive experiences across the Sports, Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness categories.
Speaking to the media, Kuna Shankar said: “We created Sport Expo as a platform dedicated entirely to sport. Every year, we bring together athletes, professionals, brands, institutions, and enthusiasts who believe in the power of sport—its discipline, its energy, and its ability to build community.”
The expo is designed to go beyond product displays by creating opportunities for visitors to experience sport through competitions, demonstrations and participatory formats. “As the curtain raiser to the Hyderabad Marathon—the second-largest marathon in India—we welcome over 25,000 visitors, creating a space shaped by preparation, performance, and shared passion,” Shankar said.
Sport Expo India has emerged as a platform where sporting brands and consumers can connect directly, while athletes, coaches, fitness enthusiasts and industry professionals get opportunities to interact, exchange ideas and experience new products and innovations.
The exposition also has significant participation from fitness communities, academies and wellness professionals, creating a balanced platform that connects competitive sport with lifestyle wellness and consumer commerce.
The two-day event is expected to provide an energetic mix of competitive sport, fitness, wellness and consumer engagement, reinforcing Hyderabad’s growing position as a destination for major sporting and fitness events.
