Hyderabad’s Tilak Varma to lead strong India A side for ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup in Doha
Hyderabad batter N Tilak Varma will lead the India A squad at the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup to be held in Doha, Qatar, from November 9 to 29, 2026.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) men’s selection committee picked the following players for the India A squad. India A are placed in Group B alongside the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal, and Pakistan A.

Group A comprises Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Afghanistan A and Hong Kong, China. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, scheduled for November 26 and 27. The final will take place on November 29.
The India A squad includes the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Rajat Patidar, who has been named the vice-captain, and Rinku Singh.
