Austria’s 17-year-old Lilli Tagger produced the standout performance of the Mumbai Open 2026 WTA 125 tennis tournament so far, as she stunned former champion Darja Semenistaja of Latvia in the quarterfinals on Friday.
Competing at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association courts in Mumbai, Tagger dropped the opening set but showed remarkable poise to turn the contest around for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory against her second-seeded opponent.
