Tanuj, Houzef, Karan, Habeeb, Dheeraj, Sanjay, Nikhil, Pratheek score centuries in HCA B Div

SM Tanuj struck an unbeaten century to help MP Blues reach a competitive score against Sayi Satya in the fifth round of the HCA’s B Division (2-day) League Championship in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Batting first, MP Blues made 336 for five in 66.5 overs as Tanuj was batting on 173 off 179 balls with 23 fours. Giving him company was J Swamy on 64.

In another match, Crown posted a four-wicket victory over Elegant. S Vijaykanth Nayak (4/35) and Shashank Verma (3/18) were among the wickets as Elegant were bundled out for a lowly 149. Crown replied with 150 for six to claim full points from the game.

Mirza Houzef Baig scored 106 off 152 balls with 12 fours and a six as Rohit XI ran up 445 against Marredpally.

Aditya NK took five for 50 to restrict Concorde to 244. In reply, Hyderabad Wanderers were 67 for two.

Karan Kumar Pattanayak scored a century to help Sportive reach a competitive score against Green Turf.

Karan Kumar made 108 off 134 balls with 19 fours and a six as Sportive reached 322. M Varun Tej was unlucky to miss out on a century as he fell for 95.

Habeeb Ahmed scored a quickfire century to help Income Tax made 387 against Classic. Habeeb scored 103 off 90 balls with 10 fours and five sixes, while Md Faiz Sheikh made 64 and B Sandeep got 62.  In reply, Classic were 19 for one.

Dheeraj Pranav D scored 100 off 140 balls with 10 fours and two sixes as Chetan Anand CA made 351 against Khalsa, who were seven without loss at stumps.

B Sanjay made 113 off 138 balls with 18 fours and a six as Mahbubnagar scored 281 against Cheerful Chums, who were struggling at 21 for three.

Nikhil Parwani made 104 off 142 balls as Telangana reached 263 against Karimnagar, who were reeling at 49 for four at stumps.

Sai Pratheek scored a patient 102 off215 balls with 11 fours and a six as Future Stars up an impressive 302 against Deccan Blues.
