Sreenidi Deccan FC completed the signing of Togolese international defender Hadi Idrissou ahead of the I-League 2025–26 season, as the club continues to strengthen its squad for the upcoming campaign.

The 24-year-old centre-back, who has previously captained the Togo Under-23 national team, joins the Deccan Warriors with valuable international and top-flight experience. Idrissou began his professional career in Togo before moving to Morocco, where he spent two seasons with Difaa El Jadida in the Moroccan top division. He later featured in the Albanian top tier with FK Bylis, further enhancing his exposure to competitive European football, before making his move to India.

Known for his composure, leadership qualities, and defensive awareness, Idrissou is expected to add depth and solidity to Sreenidi Deccan FC’s backline ahead of the new season.

“We are pleased to welcome Idrissou to Sreenidi Deccan FC. He brings with him experience from competitive leagues such as Morocco and Albania, along with leadership exposure at the international level. His profile fits well with our long-term vision, and we believe he will play an important role in strengthening our defensive unit as we prepare for the upcoming I-League season,” said Fabio Ferreira, Sreenidi Deccan FC’s football officer.

Speaking on his move to Sreenidi Deccan FC, Idrissou said, ““I am very happy to join Sreenidi Deccan FC and begin this new chapter in my career. This is an exciting opportunity for me to challenge myself in a new league and a new country. I am motivated to work hard, adapt quickly, and contribute positively to the team’s objectives. I look forward to giving my best for the club and its supporters.””
