In a significant move to champion women’s health and empowerment, the Soch India Foundation, a prominent NGO, has announced the launch of the Bindass Women Run, which will be held on March 1 (Sunday).
The marathon aims to serve as a powerful platform for spreading awareness about women’s welfare and physical well-being. The run is exclusively for women and will commence at 6:30 am from Sanjeevaiah Park, proceeding along the scenic Necklace Road stretch to conclude at Jala Vihar Park. The organizers have emphasized that the event is more than just a race; it is a movement to encourage women to prioritize their health and social rights.
Leadership and organizing team
The initiative is being spearheaded by the dedicated team at Soch India Foundation, led by organizers Deepanjali Thakur, Priyanka Upadhyay, and Archana Choudhary. The trio has been instrumental in coordinating the logistics and ensuring the message of women’s welfare reaches every corner of the city.
The event will be graced by esteemed leaders who have long supported community development. Talasani Srinivas Yadav Garu (MLA, Sanathnagar) will attend as the chief guest for the felicitation ceremony. He will be accompanied by the guest of honour Seshu Kumari (ex-corporator, Ameerpet), to cheer on the participants and acknowledge their spirit.
Participation details
