Skykings Football Club came from behind to score a narrow 2-1 win over Young Dynamos Football Club in the C Division Football Championship at the Gymkhana ground in Secunderabad on Saturday.
Young Dynamos FC began the game on a rousing note as D Mahesh struck in the fourth minute of the game to put his side 1-0 up. However, the lead and euphoria lasted just three minutes as Skykings struck back. Rosangzela found the target in the seventh minute of the game to level the scores.
The winner was struck by Shaik Naga Sharif in the 10th minute but thereafter neither team was able to score. Skykings happily held on to the narrow lead to close the match on a triumphant note.
Result: Skykings FC 2 (Rosangzela 7th, Shaik Naga Sharif 10th) beat Young Dynamos 1 (D Mahesh 4th).
