K Sandeep Kumar smashed a century to set up NFC’s massive 261-run win over LIC in the HCA’s D Division (Institution) League in Hyderabad.
Batting first, NFC ran up a mammoth 341 for four in just 25 overs. Sandeep hit five fours and six sixes as he raced to a 61-ball 126. He was ably supported by C Sivakrishna who made 67 and G Chalapathi Rao who scored 63.
LIC failed to put up a challenge were bundled out for a lowly 80 in 17.3 overs with Santosh Kumar taking three for 17. D Gopikrishna topscored for LIC with 47.
In another match, HMWS&SB scored a convincing seven-wicket win over Vidyuth Soudha.
Vidyuth Soudha, batting first, made 145 in 19.1 overs despite B Ranjeet Kumar scoring 64. In reply, HMWS&SB made 147 for three in 17.4 overs.
