Sai Nachiketh Bhatraju has etched his name into Indian badminton history by becoming the first-ever Indian to win the Under-19 men’s singles title at the Yonex All England Junior Badminton Championships 2026.
The top seed produced a dominant run to the championship, showcasing exceptional skill, composure, and consistency.
In the final, Sai Nachiketh had no issue in cruising past K Suhaas in straight games. Sai Nachiketh won the first game with relative ease 21-8 but found it a big tough in the second game. However, Sai Nachiketh was more than a handful for his rival as he won the game 21-15.
In the semifinal, Sai Nachiketh defeated third seed M Mano Kurian in straight games. Sai Nachiketh proved quite a handful for Kurian as he won 21-13, 21-14.
In the quarterfinals, Sai Nachiketh defeated Sajan Senthuran 21-10, 24-22.
