Roshan, Rohit, Varun, Ritesh hammer centuries; Maneet bags five wickets

V Jagath Roshan struck a century, but his effort was no sufficient for Team A to take the lead against Team C in the HCA Under-14 Probables Tournament. Replying to Team C’s 377, Team A made 300 thanks to V Jagath Roshan’s 118, which came off 134 balls with 18 fours.

P Rohit scored 108 off 158 balls with 21 fours as Team D, replying to Team E’s 367 for seven, made 305 for seven. P Adithya Yadav was unlucky to miss out on a century as he fell on 97.

Gopala Varun got 118 off 130 balls with 16 fours as Team H made 359 against Team F, who had, earlier, made 292 for seven. P Maneet Rathna took five for 88 for Team F.

CH Ritesh Reddy scored 105 off 226 balls with 16 fours and B Gowtham Reddy made 92 as Team I scored 295 for eight in reply to Team J’s 178.

Vikram Jadav’s unbeaten half-century set up Nizamabad’s 56-run win over Karimnagar in the Kaka Venkataswamy Memorial Telangana Inter-District T20 League Phase ll at Mahbubnagar on Tuesday.

Electing to bat, Nizamabad made 195 for three with Vikram getting 84 of those and M Sai Pratheek scoring an unbeaten 49.  In reply, Karimnagar were restricted to 139 for six with Sai Pratheek taking three for 12. Thakshil Erroju made 56 for the losers.
