Ritish Reddy hits an unbeaten ton to help Team G score a four-wicket win over Team F

G Ritish Reddy struck an unbeaten century to help Team G score a four-wicket win over Team F in the HCA Senior Men’s Super League at the Dr N Kondal Rao Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday.

After conceding a 151-run first innings lead, Team F fought back valiantly with skipper P Aman Rao leading from the front. The opener fell for 96 but the good was carried on with Alankrith Rapole getting 81 and A Varun Goud enhancing the lead with a 94 which came off 108 balls with 10 fours and two sixes. Team F scored 368 and thereby set Team G a target of 218.

Bhagath Varma bowls Team C to 53-run win; Ghazi Abbas takes five, Aman Rao scores 96

Team G took up the challenge with opener G Rithish Reddy scoring a fine unbeaten 101 off 133 balls with 17 fours. Team G made 221 for six.

Brief scores: Team F 224 in 59.3 overs & 368 in 92 overs (A Varun Goud 94, T Ravi Teja 3/54) lost to Team G 375 in 89.3 overs & 221/6 in 45.3 overs (G Ritish Reddy 101no, Bhavesh Seth 34).

Shiva Ramakrishna hits ton in Team B win

T Shiva Ramakrisha struck a century to set up Team B’s 63-run win over Team D in the Under-19 Super League.

Shiva Ramakrishna scored 129 off 130 balls with 15 fours and four sixes as Team B scored 245. Ayush Malhotra took four for 27 for Team D.

In reply, Team D were bowled out for 182 with Y Harry Stanes taking four for 41.

Jaya Prakash’s all-round show helps Hyderabad School of Excellence win

C Jaya Prakash Narayan’s all-round performance powered Hyderabad School of Excellence to a 41-run win over Hidayah Islamic International School in the Under-16 inter-school & college knock-out tournament.

Batting first, Hyderabad School of Excellence mustered 247 for seven thanks to Jaya Prakash’s 100 which came off 114 balls and contained nine fours. Mirza Suleman Baig got 52.

Jatin Sharma led the fight for Hidayah Islamic International School but they fell short. Hidayah were bowled out for 206 despite Jatin getting 92. Jaya Prakash took four for 33 to bowl his team home.
