Riddhi Toro clinches CBSE Cluster VII Under-14 girls’ singles title; Times School win silver

Riddhi Toro of TIME School in Bandlaguda Jagir emerged victorious in the Under-14 girls’ singles category at the CBSE Cluster VII Table Tennis Tournament 2026-27 held at Sir CR Reddy Public School in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.

Displaying exceptional skill and determination, Riddhi secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Mokshika Pogaku of Olive Mount Global School in the semifinals. She continued her impressive form in the final, defeating Hethvika Kolli of VPS Public School by 3-1 sets to emerge as the tournament champion.

Further adding to the school’s success, TIME School finished as the runners-up in the Under-14 Girls Team Championship. The team, comprising Riddhi Toro, Vanshika Chalkapurkar, and Ananya Nenavath, delivered an excellent performance throughout the tournament, showcasing teamwork, resilience, and sporting excellence. These achievements highlight the school’s strong commitment to nurturing young sporting talent and encouraging excellence in competitive sports.

Results: Under-14 girls’ singles semifinals: Riddhi Toro (Times School, Hyd) beat Pogaku Mokshika (Olive Mount Global School, Hyd) 3-1 (11-9, 9-11, 11-6, 11-8).

U-14 girls’ singles final: Riddhi Toro (Times School, Hyd) beat Hetvika Kolli (VPS Public School, Vijayawada) 3-1 (7-11,11-9, 11-8, 11-5).

U-14 girls’ team event final: Sri Prakash Synergy School (East Godavari, AP) beat Times School (Hyd, Telangana) 3-1.

(K Nayana beat Vanshika 3-2; D V Geetanjali lost to Riddhi Toro 0-3; M V Satya Sai beat N Ananya 3-1; K Nayana beat Riddhi Toro 3-2).

U-14 girls’ team event: 1. Sri Prakash Synergy School (East Godavari, AP), 2. Times School (Hyd, Telangana), 3. Birla Open Minds International School (Medak, Telangana) and VPS Public School (Vijayawada, AP).
