Telangana CM Revanth Reddy felicitates Hyd cricketers Tilak Varma and Aaron George

Tilak Varma, member of the victorious India team, which won the ICC T20 World Cup in Ahmedabad recently, paid a courtesy visit to Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy.

The Hyderabad player Tilak Varma called on the chief minister upon his arrival in the city.

The chief minister felicitated and congratulated Tilak Varma on the stupendous achievement. The chief minister also felicitated another Hyderabad player Aaron George, who was part of the Under-19 India team which won the ICC Under-19 World Cup for an unprecedented sixth time.

State ministers Vakiti Srihari and Mohd Azharuddin, Rajya Sabha member Vem Narender Reddy, Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman Shivsena Reddy, CM’s principal secretary Srinivasa Raju, and SATS VC & MD Dr Sonibala Devi were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, Tilak Varma was accorded a warm welcome at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. He was welcomed by SATS chairman Shivsena Reddy and VC & MD Dr Sonibala Devi.

Aaron George too was welcomed and felicitated by the SATS top brass on the occasion.
