Dr Resham Payak won the women’s singles open title at the inaugural edition of the National Doctors Badminton Championship 2026 in Goa. Dr Rusva Mistry came in second.
The men’s singles title went to Dr Abhiram, while Dr Ankush Patil finished second. Dr Abhiram went on to win the mixed doubles title too along with Dr Sanjotha. Dr Abhishek & Dr Neha Sharma came in second.
In the men’s singles 60 category, Dr Dnyaneshwar Shinde bagged a double. He first won the singles ahead of Dr Felix Dias and then in the company of Dr Ramanuj Marda bagged the doubles title. Dr Dhanesh and Dr Hemant Sathe finished second.
