Rehaan scores 2nd ton, Aditya hits double century; Ved, Tanish, Jaswanth, Guru shine 

Shaik Rehaan Roshan struck his second consecutive century in as many matches to power Team F to a 136-run win over Team A in the HCA’s Under-19 Men’s One-day Selection Matches in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Shaik Rehaan Roshan had made 104 against Team C in a losing cause on Monday. This day there was no stopping his side from posting a big win thanks to Rehaan and Ved Reddy, who bagged six wickets.

Ved Reddy

Batting first, Team F ran up 350 for five with Rehaan hammering 150 off 117 balls with seven fours and 12 sixes. He was ably supported by Namaan Dayala who made 124 off 129 balls with 13 fours and a six.

In reply, Team A were bowled out for 214 with Ved Reddy bagging six for 29.

Aditya Vardhan smashed an unbeaten double century to power Team D to an emphatic eight-wicket win over Team C.

Batting first, Team C were restricted to 284 for six with Arhaan Satwalkar topscoring with 64. In reply, it was Aditya Vardhan all the way as he struck 15 fours and 18 sixes in his 95-ball 202. Team D replied with 290 for two.

Sai Tanishq C

Sai Tanish C struck a 108-ball 107 to power Team E to a resounding eight-wicket win over Team B. Batting first, Team B made 262 but Team E replied with 265 for two with Sai Tanish doing the bulk of the scoring. He was well supported by RBS Naga Trivikram who made 76.

Jashwanth Mote scored a century to upstage S Guru Vidhwan and steer Team L to a five-wicket win over Team G.

S Guru Vidhwan

Batting first, Team G made 182 despite S Guru Vidhwan scoring 101 off 143 balls with nine fours and two sixes. In reply, Team L made 186 for five as Jaswanth Mote scored 112 off 81 balls with eight fours and nine sixes.

T Shiva Rama Krisha missed out on a century and also ended up on the losing side. Shiva Rama Krishna made 92 as Team K scored 279 for six. In reply, Team H made 280 for nine with D Janmesh Singh making 86 and Jashwanth K scoring 75.

Mote Jaswanth

Brief scores: Team F 350/5 in 50 overs (Shaik Rehaan Roshan 150, Namaan Dayala 124) beat Team A 214 in 35.4 overs (N Nitesh Naik 55, Aditya Javvaji 92, Ved Reddy A 6/29).

Team B 262 in 50 overs (P Rishanth Reddy 54, Sai Devesh Javaji 67, K Yajwan Kumar 41no, P Pranav Reddy 4/45) lost to Team E 265/2 in 38.2 overs (RBS Naga Trivikram 76, Sai Tanish C 107, Vikash Gupta 31no).

Team J 236/6 in 50 overs (B Abhishek Yadav 48, Sanyasi Shiven 34, B Hishanth Prem Charan 59) lost to Team I 239/3 in 42.3 overs (Satvik Biradar 47, Kushal Sheerla 77, P Prince 30no).

Team G 182/10 in 49.4 overs (S Guru Vidhwan 101, Arjun Nc 3/24) lost to Team L 186/5 in 26.2 overs (Jashwanth Mote 112).
