Reeds FC & ORO FC steal honours on opening day of Telangana Under-15 Youth League

Reeds Football Club and ORO Football Club stole the honours on the opening day of the Telangana Under-15 Youth League 2026 at the Gymkhana football ground in Secunderabad on Saturday.

ORO Football Club eked out a hard-fought 1-0 win over Little Stars Football Club. In a match where the defence of both sides held good, Avyukth Mamidala’s strike in the 23^rd minute made the world of difference for ORO Football Club.

ORO held on to the lead and made sure that they gained full points from the game.

Reeds down Sky Kings 3-1

In the second match of the day, Reeds Football Club were all over their rival territory as they won 3-1 against Sky Kings Football Club.

In the first half of the match, both teams fought tooth-and-nail and neither side was able to break the deadlock. They went into the break locked 0-0.

The action began to heat up after the break as Sky Kings Football Club made the first decisive move in the 40^th minute. Harshith put his side 1-0 up with a brilliant strike.

The tournament was inaugurated by Arjuna and Dronacharya awardee Syed Nayeem Uddin, who is also Telangana Football Ambassador

The reversal stung Reeds Football Club who upped the ante. In the space of six minutes, Reeds Football Club struck thrice to settle the issue in their favour.

Muanluanthang Valte began the scoring spree as he found the target in the 49^th minute of play. Two minutes later, Atharva Bisht made it 2-0 in favour of Reeds Football Club.

TFA to start its Under-15 Youth League from July 10 at the Gymkhana ground

Marri Nishal Reddy settled the issue in the 55^th minute as Reeds Football Club took full points from the game. Dhyan Magan of Reeds Football Club was shown a Red Card.

Nayeem Uddin inaugurates tournament

The tournament was inaugurated by Arjuna and Dronacharya awardee Syed Nayeem Uddin, who is also Telangana Football Ambassador. The tournament is being organized by the Telangana Football Association which will be providing boarding and lodging for all the districts teams participating in the Under-15 Youth League 2026.

Reeds FC 3 (Muanluanthang Valte 49^th min, Atharva Bisht 51^st min, Marri Nishal Reddy 55^th min) beat Sky Kings FC 1 (Harshith 40^th min).
