Record participation at EFI National Qualifier hosted by Nasr Polo in Hyderabad

Hyderabad has witnessed a record-breaking response to the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) National Qualifier being hosted by the Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy.

A record field of 50 horses, representing riders from 11 equestrian clubs and academies, will compete for qualification to the EFI Junior National Equestrian Championship 2026, scheduled to be conducted later this year.

The event commenced on Wednesday with the mandatory veterinary inspection conducted by Dr KCS Reddy, Col Nanda and Col Yadav. Each participating horse was carefully examined to ensure its health, fitness and readiness for competition.

The qualifier has attracted riders and horses from Archi Horse Riding Academy, Flying Sea Stallion, Telangana Horse Riding Academy, Royal Caballo Club, Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy, The Ashva Collective, HPRC, Covai Stables, Japalouppe Equestrian, The Hyderabad Equestrian Centre and Embassy International Riding School.

Among the strong field are several accomplished riders, including Aizah Mir, Mir Najamuddin Azam, Prabhnoor Singh Madan, Dhruva Potineni, Siddharth Dutta, Samyukta Vanapalli, Guduri Vedik, Ayaan Verma Nadimpalli, Mohammed Aamir Shanawaz, Megh Vahni Dontireddy and many other promising competitors.

The historic turnout reflects the rapidly growing interest in equestrian sport in Hyderabad and across the country. Participating teams have appreciated the hospitality, infrastructure and welcoming support extended by Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy, whose dedicated efforts have played an important role in achieving this record participation.

Over the coming days, the horse-and-rider combinations will compete with the goal of securing qualification for the prestigious EFI Junior National Equestrian Championship.
