Sreenidi Deccan FC lost 2-0 to Real Kashmir FC in their final Phase 1 game of the Indian Football League 2025–26 season at the TRC ground in Srinagar on Sunday.
Head coach Carlos Vaz Pinto made two changes to his starting eleven, as Lalchungnunga came in to replace the suspended Lalromawia, while Fabrice Kah returned to the lineup in place of Abhash Thapa.
The Deccan Warriors began the match with attacking intent and won a corner in the third minute, but were unable to trouble the opposition defence. In the 7th minute, Sreenidi Deccan FC registered their first shot on goal when David’s header from Chunga’s cross was comfortably collected by the goalkeeper.
The Deccan Warriors created another opportunity later in the half when Fabrice Kah’s cross from the left found Chunga, but the winger’s header lacked the power to trouble the opposition keeper.

The hosts gradually began to apply pressure on the Deccan Warriors’ defence and were rewarded in the 44th minute, when a deflected save from Kamaljit fell kindly to Ahteeb Amad, who slotted it into the back of the net. The referee blew the whistle for half-time with the hosts leading by a solitary goal.
Sreenidi Deccan FC started the second half in search of an equaliser and came close in the 49th minute, when Fabrice Kah found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper but was unable to convert.
Hardik Bhatt and Lalthankhuma later saw their efforts hit the post and cleared away by the opposition defence.
In the 93rd minute, Sanatomba Singh sealed the victory for the Snow Leopards, finding the back of the net to double their lead. Despite their efforts in the closing stages, the Deccan Warriors were unable to stage a comeback, and the match ended 2-0 in favour of Real Kashmir FC.
With this result, Sreenidi Deccan FC finished 4th in the points table at the end of Phase 1 and will now feature in the Championship Stage of the league.
