Indian women’s relay team of Shravani Sachin Sangle, Sandramol Sabu, Pravallika Narimalla and Nofisa Khatun produced a sensational performance to clinch the gold medal at the Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships 2026 in Ordos, China, finishing with a superb time of 3:33.62s. The Indians finished ahead of China and Kazakhstan.
The quartet displayed exceptional teamwork, composure, and speed to outclass the competition and stand proudly atop the podium.

On the track, Shravani Sangle gave India a strong and confident start and Sandra Mol Sabu produced a breathtaking second leg, surging clear of the Chinese runner in the final 100 metres to build a decisive lead.
Pravallika and Nofisa held their nerve with brilliant final legs, sealing a memorable victory and India’s second relay gold of the championship.
The team’s winning time of 3:33.62s was just 0.81 seconds slower than the Indian senior team’s season-best mark of 3:32.81s, a remarkable achievement that highlights the immense potential of India’s next generation of athletes.
This golden performance is a testament to the athletes’ hard work, determination, and teamwork, reaffirming India’s growing strength in relay events on the continental stage.
