The Cancer Crusaders Golf Championship is the most sought after and has evolved as the largest golf tournament in the world. Over the years, it has turned into a powerful platform that brings together ace golfers, outstanding sportspersons, celebrities, corporate leaders, and opinion makers, united by a common cause, to fight cancer and support those who cannot afford life-saving treatment.

One swing at a time, inspiring and transforming lives

“Hope truly begins here, where good Samaritans step forward with empathy and compassion for patients who are unable to afford the cost of treatment. Cure Foundation has consistently embodied the spirit of giving, transforming lives by turning patients into survivors, fighters and ultimately, winners. Their support extends beyond the patient, offering strength and reassurance to families and, in a larger sense, to humanity at large. When we join hands as a collective force, we have the power to make the world a far better place to live in. Doctors are often regarded as gods, and for countless patients in distress, Dr Vijay Anand Reddy stands as a true rishi, a guiding light of hope. It is through the compassion and selfless service of such humane individuals that patients find renewed hope, the strength to survive, and the promise of a happier life ahead,” said actor Jagapathi Babu.

Samyukta Menon said, “My film, which was released on the 14th of this month, has turned out to be a runaway success. While the entire team is in Tirumala to offer thanksgiving prayers to Lord Venkateshwara, I felt that the Lord wanted me to be here today in service of a noble cause and that is why I am here. I am truly happy to have been part of this moment. Learning about Dr Vijay Anand Reddy’s yeoman service through Cure Foundation is deeply inspiring and reinforces the belief that true success finds its highest purpose in giving back to society.”

Dr Vijay Anand Reddy said Cure Foundation, over the years, has been at the forefront of cancer prevention and care, reaching the masses through sustained awareness programmes, screenings, and education initiatives. “The Foundation has enabled free or subsidised quality cancer treatment for more than 1,500 cancer survivors, while also supporting extensive rehabilitation, research, and education programmes at the Apollo Cancer Centers, Hyderabad. As a Foundation, we believe the money finds its true value only when it touches a life and makes a meaningful difference,” he stated.

“A key focus of Cure Foundation’s mission is providing free cancer treatment to children, recognising that timely intervention can save young lives and secure their future. Studies show that 85% to 90% of childhood cancers are curable. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that financial constraints do not deny these children a chance at life,” said Dr Reddy and added that the funds raised through the biennial championship go directly towards those children who otherwise cannot afford expensive cancer care.
