New Club down FMC, emerge champions in Inter-Club Team Snooker Championship 2026
New Club scored a convincing 3-0 victory over Fateh Maidan Club in the final of the Inter-Club Team Snooker Championship 2026, conducted by Secunderabad Club on their premises in Secunderabad on Sunday.
Vibhas brooked no challenge as he toyed with Ajay Bhushan in a 3-0 rout. Praveen Kumar, on the other hand, had a battle to wage before overcoming Vishal Agarwal 3-2.
Murali Krishna was leading 2-1 against Niteesh when the latter conceded the game.
The New Club team was represented by Murali Krishna, Praveen Kumar, Vibhas and Rohit.
New Club down Nizam Club, FMC thrash Secunderabad Club A
In the semifinals, New Club defeated Nizam Club 2-1. Murali Krishna outplayed Vicky Agrwal 3-1 but Praveen Kumar lost to Kumar 1-3. However, Vibhas managed to edge out Prakash 3-2 to clinch the tie.
In the other semifinal, FMC thrashed Secunderabad Club A 3-0.
