Jagarthveer hammers 302 to power Medak to a huge 599-run win over St Martin’s HS

J Jagarthveer Nayak hammered a triple century, while Md Rehmath and Nishanth Reddy scored centuries and G Advaith Reddy bagged seven wickets as Medak Dist-1 routed St Martin’s High School by 599 runs in the HCA’s Under-16 Inter-school & colleges knock-out tournament in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Batting first, Medak Dist-1 ran up a huge 617 for one with Jagarthveer Nayak scoring 302 off 144 balls with 58 boundaries and a six. Md Rehmath made 138 off 64 balls with 14 fours and six sixes, while Nishanth Reddy scored 123 off 73 balls with 22 fours and a six.

In reply, St Martin’s fell for 18 for eight in just 8.4 overs with G Advaith Reddy bagging seven for nine.

N Maitreya took seven for 12 to help Tatva Global School post a 10-wicket win over Meridian School (Banjara Hills).
