Imran Ali, Suman, Gnaneshwar, Adithya, Amol, Sandeep & Upendra shine in ‘D’ Division league

Shaik Imran Ali bagged four wickets and U Suman scored an unbeaten half-century as TGSEB scored a comfortable seven-wicket win over ECIL in the HCA’s D Division Institution (one-day) League Championship on Sunday.

Batting first ECIL could manage 134 in 21.2 overs with Shaik Imran Ali taking four for 31. Hemraj Yadav scored 49 for ECIL.

In reply, TGSEB rode on U Suman’s unbeaten 51. P Suresh too chipped in with a useful and unbeaten 30.

In another match, R Gnaneshwar struck an unbeaten half-century to power HAL to a thumping eight-wicket win over TGCAB.

N Venkata Adithya scored 53 and M Hemanth made 46 as TGCAB ran up 156 in 32.3 overs. Sandeep Kumar took three for 23.

In reply, HAL made 157 for two in just 18.4 overs as Gnaneshwar made 65 and Sandeep Kumar remained not out on 39.

Elsewhere, OMC scored a four-wicket win over GHMC. After bowling out GHMC for 137, OMC replied with 138 for six.

GVN Upendra scored 61 to set up FCI’s 20-run win over HMWS&SB, while Amol Malhari Raut took four for eight to set up RBI’s three-wicket win over BHEL.

FCI 166/7 in 25 overs (GVN Upendra 61) beat HMWS &SB 146/9 in 25 overs (Kundan Kumar 3/25).

BHEL 90 in 17.4 overs (Amol Malhari Raut 4/8) lost to RBI 94/7 in 17 overs.
