Hyderabad’s equestrian fraternity had much to celebrate as several city riders successfully cleared the National Qualifier conducted by the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) at the Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy in Hyderabad.
Lehak Mehta (Groot)
The riders delivered confident and composed performances across the Dressage and Show Jumping competitions, meeting the prescribed qualification standards and moving one step closer to participating in the Junior National Equestrian Championship (JNEC) 2026.

The National Qualifier witnessed an impressive participation of approximately 50 horses, reflecting the rapid growth of equestrian sport in Hyderabad and the increasing competitive strength of riders from the region.

Clearing the NQ is an important milestone in the riders’ journey towards the national championship. Their success is a testament to their disciplined training, determination and the dedicated support of their coaches, parents, clubs and support teams.
