Hyderabad Open, India’s premier amateur golf championship, will be held at the Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club in Hyderabad from February 18 to 21.
The TGolf Foundation on Monday officially announced the launch of the Hyderabad Open, which will bring together amateur golfers from across the country to compete on a world-class 18-hole course.
The tournament follows Stroke Play. To maintain professional standards, participants must possess a certified WHS/Club Handicap Index, capped at 18 for men and 24 for women, says a release.
Players will compete for the Hyderabad Open champion title, along with awards for runner-up and second runner-up positions. Special awards will also be presented for Overall Longest Drive, Straightest Drive, and Closest to the Pin, with a dedicated Hole-in-One prize active throughout all tournament days and prizes for several age categories.

At a press briefing on Monday, the Tgolf Foundation unveiled the Hyderabad Open posters and polos, a moment that signalled the commencement of this historic tournament. During the event, Dr. NRN Reddy, president & CEO of TGolf Foundation, described the Hyderabad Open as a historic milestone and a decisive step toward positioning India as a thriving hub for golf tourism.
