Hitesh, Gautam, Dhruva, Myra, Apeksha steal the thunder at 2nd HPRC Equestrian Challenge

Janampally Hitesh Reddy (Centaur) and Anet Castilino (Bella), both among the NQ’s Children I Dressage podium, finished 1st and 2nd in the same category as the 2nd HPRC Equestrian Challenge got its main competitive action underway this morning with Hacks and Dressage classes at the Hyderabad Polo & Riding Club (HPRC), Gandipet, Hyderabad, ahead of Show Jumping later on Saturday evening.

Several riders who competed at the National Qualifier hosted at HPRC just days earlier carried their form straight into the Equestrian Challenge. Gautam Sanjay Sujanaani, who posted the top Junior Dressage score at the NQ aboard Airstrike, topped the Juniors Dressage class again on Saturday. Kumbham Sai Tanvi Reddy of HPRC came in second.

In Dressage Children-2, Dhruva Potineni bagged the first prize, while Mysha Gupta came in second. Vedik Guduri and Ananya Gupta finished third.

In the Hacks Under-12 years, Myra Alapati took the honours and was followed by Rhythm Tiwari. Neil Sinha Jha and M Anaika Reddy were third, while Mohammed Izaan finished fourth.

Apeksha Matcha bagged the honours in the Hacks 13 to 16 years category. She was followed by Ishaan Kandhari. Zoya Faiyaz and Swathi Janardhanan came in third, while Atharv Chendra Varma Tippani and Priya Reddy were fourth.

Dressage Children-2: 1. Dhruva Potineni (The Ashwa Collective) Astride-Grace, 2. Mysha Gupta (HPRC) Astride-Agni, 3. Vedik Guduri (HPRC) Astride-Tin Tin A and Ananya Gupta (HPRC) Astride-Roudy.

Hacks Under-12 years: 1. Myra Alapati (HPRC) Astride-Badsha, 2. Rhythm Tiwari (HPS, Begumpet) Astride-Chetak, 3. Neil Sinha Jha (HPRC) Astride-Enigma and M Anaika Reddy (HPRC) Astride-Airstrike, 4. Mohammed Izaan (HPRC) Astride-HPRC’s club horse.

Hacks 13 to 16 years: 1. Apeksha Matcha (HPRC) Astride-Parazi, 2. Ishaan Kandhari (HPS, Begumpet) Astride-Kajal, 3.
