A day after issuing a notification for the recruitment of umpires and scores, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Friday has invited applications from ground owners or individuals/organisations who have grounds under lease, who are willing to offer their grounds to HCA on lease for conducting league matches during the season 2026-27.

The ground should have a good pitch (minimum two pitches) with a lush, evenly cut outfield. The minimum boundary from the centre should be 65 yards and the boundary ropes should be in place (no usage of pipes, rods, or loose materials).

There should also be zero debris, stones or hazardous materials inside the playing area. The ground should also have provision for sight screens on both ends covering the required area in full. The ground should also have pitch rollers and should be in working condition.

Facilities for match officials and scorers should also be available at the ground. A dedicated, shaded scorer’s desk and chairs for umpires with an unobstructed view of the play are must.

The ground should also have pavilions with a minimum of 20 chairs for each team (40 chairs in total). There should be absolute cleanliness around the pavilion areas and zero garbage.

The ground should also have clean, neat, and hygienic toilets with hand wash and wet wipes provided. Also, provision should be available for a fully stocked First Aid kit and pain-relief sprays. A secure parking area clear of the boundary lines should also be available.

Interested parties have been requested to share the following to info@hycricket.org.

Application received on or before July 7, 2026, only will be considered in this round. Shortlisted grounds will be contacted for further process, says an HCA press release.
