Harison Singh scored thrice in quick succession to help Falaknuma Football Club score a convincing 5-1 win over Sporting Football Club in the C Division Football League Championship at the Gymkhana ground in Secunderabad on Friday.
Harison struck in the 10th minute to get Falaknuma off to a flying start. Four minutes later, he again found the net to make it 2-0. There was no stopping Harison Singh as he completed his hat-trick in the 18th minute of the game to give Falaknuma a 3-0 lead.
Prasanth struck in the 24th minute to make it 4-0 and Fardeen Ahmed Khan made it 5-0 in the 52nd minute. Zaheeruddin reduced the margin for Young Sporting by scoring in the 85th minute.
On Saturday, Sky Kings Football Club will meet Young Dynamos Football Club at the same venue at 3.30 pm.
Result: Falaknuma FC 5 (Harison Singh 10min, 14min, 18min, Prasanth 24min, Fardeen Ahmed Khan 52min) beat Young Sporting FC 1 (Zaheeruddin 85min).
