Dhruthi hat-trick powers Ranga Reddy to sub-jr girls’ title with a 3-0 win over Nizamabad
Dhruthi struck a fabulous hat-trick to power Ranga Reddy to an emphatic 3-0 win over Nizamabad in the final of the 12th Sub Junior Girls State Football Championship 2026 at Police grounds in Nizamabad on Monday.
The Ranga Reddy girls proved a handful for their opponents as Nizamabad girls had not answer to the aggressive intent of their rivals.
Dhruthi, single-handedly, demolished Nizamabad’s defence. She struck the first goal in the 12th minute of the game. Dhruti then doubled the lead for Ranga Reddy in the 28th minute. She then completed a well-deserved hat-trick in the 36th minute to help Ranga Reddy win the coveted title.

The tournament was conducted by Telangana Football Association. The chief guests for the closing ceremony were Pravin Reddy (vice-president of the Nizamabad Olympic Association) and Bobbili Narasiah (general secretary of the Nizamabad Olympic Association).
Results (final): Ranga Reddy 3 (Dhruthi 12th min, 28th min and36th min) beat Nizamabad 0.
