Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have picked a player replacement for Jamie Overton, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the season due to a right thigh injury. Dian Forrester will join CSK for Rs 75 lakh as a replacement for Overton.
Forrester, an all-rounder from South Africa made his debut in March 2026 against New Zealand and has featured in 5 international games, scoring 83 runs.
Macneil Noronha named replacement for Ramakrishna Ghosh
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also picked a player replacement for Ramakrishna Ghosh, who injured his right foot during their game against Mumbai Indians on May 3. He has been ruled out for the season.

An all-rounder from Karnataka, Noronha was recently awarded the MA Chidambaram Trophy at the Naman awards for being the highest run-getter in the 2024-25 Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy. Following a stellar season, Noronha received a call-up from the Karnataka team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, wherein he featured in three games for his state.

SRH skipper Pat Cummins fined for slow over rate
Pat Cummins, captain, Sunrisers Hyderabad, has been fined after his team maintained a slow over rate during Match No. 56 of TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
As this was his team’s first offence of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offences, Cummins was fined Rs 12 lakh.
