Chetan struck in the injury time to salvage a point for CCOB Sub Junior Football Club against Susai Football Club as the game ended in a 3-3 draw in the Telangana Football Association’s (TFA) C Division Football League at the Gymkhana Football Ground in Secunderabad on Friday evening.
CCOB Sub Junior’s took the lead in the 26th minute as Nikesh struck for them. Nikesh went on to score the second one in the 40th minute to put CCOB 2-0 up at the break.
After the break, it was Susai who dictated the terms. Hardey scored thrice in 14 minutes to help Susai take a 3-2 lead. Hardey struck in the 51st minute and four minutes later tied the scores 2-2. He got his much-deserved hattrick in the 65th minute as Susai went ahead for the first time in the game.
For the next 27 minutes, Susai held on their advantage and against the run of play, Chetan scored the equalizer in the 92nd minute.
On Saturday, CCOB Junior Football Club will take on Young Dynamos Football Club at 3.30 pm at the Gymkhana Football Ground.
Result: CCOB Sub Junior FC 3 (Nikesh 26th and 40th, Chetan 92nd ) drew Susai FC 3 (Hardy 51st, 55th and 65th).
