After the batters goofed it up, the bowlers came to the party to bowl Hyderabad to a 20-run victory over Vidarbha in the BCCI Women’s Under-15 One-day Tournament in Vizianagaram on Friday.

Electing to bat after skipper P Shanvi won the toss, Hyderabad openers Shanvi and Bhavishya Reddy got the side off to a decent start. The duo added 32 in 8.1 overs before Bhavishya was bowled by Vidhi Deshmukh for 10 (17 balls; 1×4).

Shanvi and Neetha Nagabelli then added 12 before the skipper was trapped leg before by Vrishti Deshpande for 15 (41 balls; 2×4).

Thereafter, Hyderabad lost their wickets and way. Prateeka Katravath (8), Neetha (6), and Kodamunja Deekshaja (3) fell quickly as Hyderabad were reduced to 60 for five.
