Senior Team G Bhavesh Seth and Aaron George Varghese sent the Senior Team H bowlers on a leather hunt as the duo struck handsome centuries in the HCA Senior Men’s Multi-day Super League 2026-27 at the HPS Begumpet Groud in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Skipper Aaron George won the toss and had no hesitation in batting first. The move paid off as Aaron and G Rithish Reddy took on the rival bowling. They added 89 for the first wicket with Aaron contributing 48 off 63 balls and Rithish scoring 40 off 82 balls before the latter was caught by Chandan Sahani off Urvesh Kakkad.
Bhavesh Seth scored 167 off 161 balls with 24 fours and four sixes
Hrishikesh Simha joined Aaron and the duo added another 83 for the second wicket before Aaron perished. He contributed 63 off 57 to the partnership.
Aaron was bowled by Rathlavath Dinesh after making 111 off 120 balls with 14 fours and three sixes.
In strode Bhavesh and made the turf his playground as he toyed with the rival bowling. Bhavesh and Hrishikesh added 76 for the third wicket before Hrishikesh was trapped leg before by Urvesh Kakkad after making 55 off 92 balls with six fours and a six.
That brought Bhavesh and Divesh Singh together and the duo took a heavy tool of the Team H attack.
Skipper G Rahul Singh struck a century to help Senior Team A reach 394 for four against Senior Team B
They added 184 for the unbroken fourth wicket off 191 balls with Bhavesh contributing 128 and Divesh making 52.
Team G made 432 for three in 90 overs with Bhavesh batting on 167 off 161 balls with 24 fours and four sixes and Divesh not out on 52 off 87 balls with five fours. Spinner Urvesh Kakkad took two for 98.
At the Ekavalya Cricket Ground 2, former Hyderabad skipper G Rahul Singh struck a century to help Senior Team A reach 394 for four against Senior Team B.
Electing to bat after Rahul won the toss, Team A were off to a flying start with openers A Vignesh Reddy and P Nitish Reddy hammering the rival attack. The duo added 51 for the opening wicket with Vignesh contributing 82 and Nitish 60.
Mudassar Hussain Md broke the partnership by getting rid of Vignesh, whose 82 came off 100 balls with nine fours and three sixes. Mudassar struck again by bowling Nitish Reddy for 77 off 89 balls with seven fours and three sixes.
But there was no respite for Team B as Rahul took charge of the proceedings and with young VVS Sarvajit for company he added 154 for the third wicket.
The left-handed Sarvajit, who is the son of legendary VVS Laxman, made a composed 45 off 107 balls with six fours before being caught by Rohit Rayudu of Shaunak Kulkarni.
Rahul fell soon thereafter as he was caught by Harshwardhan Singh of Shaunak Kulkarni but not before making 125 off 145 balls with 12 fours and three sixes.
Mudassar Hussain and Shaunak Kulkarni took two wickets apiece.
Wafi Kachchhi made 107 off 198 balls with eight fours and three sixes
Wafi Kachchhi hit a century, but A Varun Goud’s four-wicket haul evened out the contest between Senior Team E and Senior Team F at the ECIL Ground.
Electing to bat, Team E made a disastrous start as they lost Shashank Lokesh (1) and Sainath Cheryala (5) both dismissed by Aryan Cariappa.
However, opener Wafi and skipper Pragnay Reddy joined forces to rebuild the innings. The duo took their time but made it count. They added 142 for the third wicket with Pragnay Reddy being the dominant partner. He contributed 82, while Wafi scored 59 in the partnership.
Murugan Abhishek got the much-needed breakthrough by having Pragnay caught by Chirag Yadav for 82 off 101 balls with four fours and five sixes.
A Varun Goud took four for 37 for Senior Team F against Senior Team E
Wafi and Rahul Buddhi then added 63 for the fourth wicket before Rahul was caught by Prateek Reddy of M Dheeraj Rao for 30.
Wafi too was sent back by Dheeraj after making 107 off 198 balls with eight fours and three sixes and thereafter, the Team E innings went into a tailspin.
Varun Goud got into the act as he sent back Ajay Dev Goud (20), Ruthik Yadav (16), PVN Manikumar Yadav (2) and Shaik Abdur Rahaman (0) as Team E were bowled out for 292.
Varun finished with four for 37, while Aryan Cariappa and Dheeraj Rao bagged two wickets each.
Pranav Varma bagged four for 50 for Senior Team C against Senior Team D
